Instructions For Parents

1. Visiting Schedule

  • Parent Visits: Parents are allowed to meet their wards only on the last Sunday of every month.
  • Frequent Visits: Frequent visits are discouraged as they may hinder your child’s adjustment to the school environment.
  • Prohibited Times: Parents are not permitted to meet their wards or teachers during school hours. A fine of Rs. 500 will be imposed for any violations.

2. Food Restrictions

  • Prohibited Food: It is strictly prohibited to provide students with any edible items that are fried or roasted in ghee or oil.
  • Parental Advisory: Parents are advised to adhere strictly to these food guidelines.

3. Financial Obligations

  • Quarterly Charges: Parents must deposit the quarterly charges for education, food and other expenses on the due date to avoid late fees and ensure the smooth operation of the student’s diet system.
  • No Reminders: No reminders will be sent for payment of quarterly charges; parents must manage these payments proactively.

4. Attendance and Punctuality

  • Mandatory Attendance: Students must not be absent on the first day after summer and winter breaks. Absence will result in a fine of Rs. 500.
  • Late Arrival: A fine of Rs. 100 will be charged for late arrival at school.

5. Communication Guidelines

  • Communication Hours: Parents can communicate with their wards only on Sundays from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Emergency Communication: In case of an emergency, parents are allowed to communicate with their wards on Sundays. Messages can also be conveyed through the Chief Warden on any day.

6. Examination and Attendance Rules

  • Exams and Ceremonies: Students are not allowed to attend any marriage or other ceremonies during exam days. There will be no re-examination for students who miss the quarterly exams.
  • Luggage Removal: Parents must remove their ward’s luggage within five days if their name is struck off the school rolls. Gurukul will not be responsible for any luggage left behind.

7. Health Regulations

  • Medical Conditions: Students suffering from incurable or contagious diseases such as TB, cancer, or hysteria are not allowed to take admission. A medical certificate must be submitted to the hostel office.

8. Admission Requirements

  • Transfer Certificate: If a student is unable to submit their Transfer Certificate by April 30th, their admission will be canceled.

9. Special Note for New Students

  • April Visits: Parents of new students are not allowed to meet their wards on the last Sunday of April.
  • Admission Day: Parents should bring their wards at the time of admission and pick them up after dispersal time.
